We strive to provide Canadian youths an opportunity to interact with the business world and connect with other like-minded students. What is a case competition?
Business case competitions help youths gain and strengthen the essential skills required in the business world. At Prosper, we aim to develop important skills, such as critical thinking and public speaking, to guarantee success in your future careers. Our mission is to immerse youths in the business world through workshops, panels of industry professionals, and our signature case competition. Whether you are interested in accounting, marketing, finance, or business in general, our conference has an array of activities for everyone. We incorporate the whole package so you can get a taste of what the business world can offer at Prosper.
How does it work?

You will be in a team of 4 to 5 people

Teams will receive the case on Day 1

Teams will have time to prepare on Day 2 for both Round 1 and Round 2 presentations

A mandatory deliverable must be submitted on Day 1 and will make up 20% of the team's overall score

Round 1 and Round 2 will each make up 40% of the team's overall score
-
Teams will have 9 minutes to present, followed by a 3-minute Q&A session

Top 3 teams will be announced during the closing ceremony

The winning team of Prosper 2024 will receive a $2000 cash prize

The second place team of Prosper 2024 will receive an $500 cash prize
What does the registration fee include?
The registration fee includes a free pre-conference preparation webinar, two interactive workshops, lunch and beverages, an intensive case competition, networking opportunities with professionals from multiple fields, brand new initiatives like Prosper Discover, and an immersive experience in the business world at Prosper 2024.
