Since our first iteration in 2018, Prosper has become Canada's largest high school youth business conference. We strive to provide Canadian youths an opportunity to interact with the business world and connect with other like-minded students. What is a case competition?

Business case competitions help youths gain and strengthen the essential skills required in the business world. At Prosper, we aim to develop important skills, such as critical thinking and public speaking, to guarantee success in your future careers. Our mission is to immerse youths in the business world through workshops, panels of industry professionals, and our signature case competition. Whether you are interested in accounting, marketing, finance, or business in general, our conference has an array of activities for everyone. We incorporate the whole package so you can get a taste of what the business world can offer at Prosper.

How does it work?

  • You will be in a team of 5 to 6 people

  • Teams will receive the case on Day 1

  • Teams will have time to prepare on Day 1 and 2 for their Round 1 and Round 2 presentations

  • An individual Business Stream written case deliverable must be submitted on Day 1 and the average of all teammate's scores will make up 20% of the team's finalist qualification score

  • Round 1 and Round 2 will each make up 40% of the finalist qualification score

  • Teams will have 9 minutes to present, followed by a 3-minute Q&A session

  • Top 3 teams will be announced during the closing ceremony

  • The winning team of Prosper 2025 will receive a $2000 cash prize

What does the registration fee include?

The registration fee includes 3 pre-conference preparation sessions through Prosper Academy, two interactive workshops, Business Stream sessions led by renowned professors and industry professionals, an intensive case competition, networking opportunities with other like-minded students and professionals from multiple fields, and an immersive experience in the business world at Prosper 2025.
