Updates to the Prosper 2022 Health Declaration
Effective immediately, participants will no longer need to declare their travel history and current symptoms when completing the Prosper 2022 Health Declaration. They will only need to enter their registration information and upload their proof of vaccination against COVID-19.
Please Note: Participants are still required to answer questions regarding travel history and current symptoms on the Prosper 2022 Health Screener, which is different from the Health Declaration.

Updated COVID-19 Safety Plan
Based on the most up-to-date province-wide COVID-19 restrictions, Prosper has updated our COVID-19 Safety Plan to better align with the current regulations. The updated document is now available to view by clicking the button below.
Revised Conference Mask Policy
Based on recent changes to the COVID-19 restrictions in British Columbia, Prosper is shifting from a universal conference mask requirement to a policy based on guidance. Participants are now encouraged to wear a mask when physical distancing cannot be maintained. Mask-wearing is no longer a mandatory requirement. Other health measures such as the COVID vaccine requirement, Health Declaration, and Health Screener remain in place.
Please Note: Any member of the community who wishes to continue wearing a mask in any setting is fully free to do so, and their decision to do so is fully supported by Prosper. No assumptions should be made about anyone who continues to wear a mask, nor should anyone who continues to wear a mask be pressured to take their mask off in any setting.

COVID-19 Safety Plan
Based on the most up-to-date province-wide COVID-19 restrictions, Prosper has created a COVID-19 Safety Plan with measures to safeguard the wellbeing of all participants at Prosper 2022. The document is now available to view by clicking the button below.
Conference Stage Update
Based on recent changes to the COVID-19 restrictions in British Columbia, Prosper is advancing from Stage 2 to Stage 3 and lifting the 50% capacity restriction on in-person attendance. Participants who previously registered to participate virtually will still be able to do so. Existing requirements such as vaccination against COVID-19 and mask wearing will remain unchanged.
UPDATE | MARCH 1ST, 2022
Prosper has decided to reduce the initial three-day-two-night conference to a single-day hybrid after the Jan 4th, 2022 COVID-19 update from B.C. Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, following the recent exponential surge of the Omicron Variant. The update highlighted new provincial restrictions on gatherings, which left Prosper in a predicament due to the scale of the conference. As a result, Prosper 2022 will now be hosted at the UBC Sauder School of Business instead of the Hyatt Regency Vancouver hotel.
This decision came to be after the suggestions put in place by Dr. Bonnie Henry mentioning, “everything we do now makes a difference.” Prosper believes that it is our responsibility to help maintain the well-being of the overall community; and that becomes difficult when there are numerous attendees arriving from all over the world to participate in a conference. With too many variables to account for (additional & more transmissible variants, provincial lockdown, travel restrictions) and risks far too great on the overall community with such a large-scale event, we have decided to take action now.
Lower Mainland students will be able to attend in-person while students who are unable to travel can participate virtually. Prosper's mission has always been to foster future generations of business leaders, and we will continue to uphold that goal with our signature Prosper professionalism.
We realize that this update may come as disappointing for many participants. However, Prosper looks forward to providing the revolutionary three-day hotel business conference experience in 2023.
Students who registered prior to this update will receive a full refund of registration fees (minus any applicable administrative fees) within the next four to six weeks. A separate email with additional details will be sent. Previously-registered students will also receive premier access pricing (25% off) towards new registrations.
Prosper is currently operating under Stage 3.
