— INTRODUCING —

THE PROSPER EXPERIENCE YOU LOVE. NOW AT 35,000 FT.

Our Boldest Attempt Yet.

Since our first iteration back in 2018, Prosper has always strived to serve as the centre of creativity, commerce, discovery, and learning. In 2020, during the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Prosper boldly ventured into the unknown and launched the first synchronous virtual case competition in Canada under the name Prosper+.

The Prosper+ name has always been associated with stepping outside the comfort zone and pursuing something new. Something previously unattainable or even unimaginable. Now, we are excited to bring back the Prosper+ branding in time for our newest exploration in the world of business conferences.

Prosper+ will connect students in the Lower Mainland to the global center of culture and commerce — New York City. Tackling a case study at 35,000 ft, then prepare to present your recommendations to a professional panel of judges shortly after your arrival in New York.

If you are interested, please fill out the pre-registration form below. You will be notified if you are selected to participate in Prosper+ as spaces are extremely limited. The cost of attendance will be finalized closer to the event.

Let Your Ideas Take Off.

An Experience Like No Other.

Prosper+ is more than a business conference. It is a transformative journey that connects two of the greatest cities on Earth. The Prosper+ experience begins the moment you arrive at Vancouver International Airport.

After registration, flight check-in, and security, relax and rewind in the Prosper+ Lounge located in Pier D of Vancouver International Airport.

Designed for collaboration and relaxation, the lounge offers a plethora of seating options ranging from individual booths to communal tables. Moreover, satisfy your cravings with our wonderful buffet and made-to-order noodle dishes at The Noodle Alcove.

Further rewind before your flight with one of seven shower rooms available in the lounge.

Seats on the custom-configured Airbus A321XLR have been designed for collaboration and comfort from the ground up. With up to 38" of pitch, 21" of width, and a generous 7" recline, you will arrive in New York well rested and ready for the day ahead. All participants will also receive a sustainably-sourced amenity kit.

With the help from a flight attendant, seat pairs in odd-number rows can be swivelled to form a collaboration quad should you and your teammates wish to continue working on the case study while aboard.

Enjoy exceptionally-crafted meals by the world's finest restaurants on board your flight.

Participants can look forward to a choice of three entrees, paired with an organic greens salad, locally-baked pastries, and a generous appetizer.

After your meal, enjoy a classic ice cream sundae or one of the other onboard selections from local bakeries.*

*The redeye flight departing from Vancouver will have a sweet entree option and a savoury egg-dish entree option, paired with fresh seasonal fruits, pastries, and yogurt.

Let Your Creativity Shine.

Adaptive.

Distinctive.

The fundamental element of every Prosper conference is the case competition. At Prosper+, participants will be challenged by an advanced level case study focusing on public relations, crisis management, and more.

Teams participating in Prosper+ will receive the case study at 9:00 PM on the day before arrival in New York.

Teams will have 15 hours to prepare for the presentation. All presentations must include visual aid (e.g. PowerPoint presentation).

Then, teams will present to three different panels of judges in New York. Each presentation will be 10 minutes long, followed by a 5-minute Q&A session.

After the three preliminary rounds of presentations, top 3 teams will be invited to present again in front of an extended panel of judges.

The winning team of Prosper+ will win an unprecedented $3000 grand prize, in addition to a $2000 donation option to a selected charity or non-profit organization.

Alongside the grand prize, the second place team will receive a $500 prize alongside a $500 coupon towards future Prosper events.
